Day 1
Arrival in Tokyo (January 30, 2024)
Welcome to the pulsating heart of Japan, Tokyo. As you touch down in this bustling metropolis, you step into a world where tradition meets innovation. Tokyo’s skyscrapers pierce the sky while its ancient shrines and tranquil gardens offer respite from the urban frenzy.
Photography Tip: Capture Tokyo’s energy by experimenting with slow shutter speeds to create light trails from passing cars amidst the neon glow – in Shibuya or Asakusa. First day is just a meeting day – we meet together at Tokyo hotel for the first dinner. So you can arrive anytime today or even skip the dinner and settle quietly at hotel to rest a night.
Day 3
Snow Monkey Park (31 Jan, 2024)
Your first chapter unfolds at the Snow Monkey Park, where the native Japanese macaques find solace in the natural hot springs. Their playful antics amidst the snowy backdrop create a captivating narrative of wildlife in its element. We travel to Yudanaka via Nagano by shinkansen and local train, from Tokyo station around 6:30 am.
Photography Tip: Pay attention to the monkeys’ expressions and interactions to capture their unique personalities.
Day 4
Varanasi – Delhi (Flight) – Agra (200 kms/ 4 hrs)
You’ll catch a morning flight back to Delhi and then embark on a drive to Agra, the city of the iconic Taj Mahal. In the evening, you’ll explore Agra, including a visit to the Mehtab Bagh, which offers a unique perspective of the Taj Mahal during sunset. Your overnight accommodation will be in Agra.
DAY 5
Explore Agra
Early in the morning, you’ll visit the stunning Taj Mahal at sunrise, capturing its timeless beauty. Your day continues with a visit to Agra Fort, where you’ll have the opportunity to photograph more architectural marvels. In the afternoon, you’ll head to Fatehpur Sikri for additional photography, capturing the historical grandeur of this UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll spend the night in Agra.
DAY 6
Agra – Jaipur (235 kms/ 5 hrs)
Sunrise will start from a photo session at Tamblingan Lake. It is the lake in the North of Bali, often misty at sunrise. There’s a small temple at the shore often half flooded. With traditional boats in the lake we will get wonderful photographs from this misty morning. In the afternoon we visit Leke-leke Waterfall or one of the hidden waterfalls in the East Bali. You can shoot both amazing landscape and culture or just landscape. Sunset location at Tanah Lot Temple. “Tanah Lot” name stands for earth (Tanah) and sea (Lot), and it has indeed a very spectacular setting on top of an impressive rock overlooking the sea.
Day 7
Explore Jaipur
You’ll start your day early with a visit to Amber Fort, where you’ll have the opportunity for incredible photography against the backdrop of this historical marvel. The day continues with visits to City Palace and Jantar Mantar, both offering unique photographic opportunities. In the evening, you’ll have free time for street photography and immersing yourself in the city’s culture. Your overnight accommodation is in Jaipur.
Day 8
Jaipur – Delhi (Drive 5 hrs)
Today, you’ll drive back to Delhi, allowing for photography opportunities along the way. Upon your arrival in Delhi, you’ll have the chance to capture the city’s fusion of modernity and history. In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner and a group photo sharing session to reflect on the tour’s highlights. Your last night of the tour will be spent in Delhi.
Day 9: Delhi
The morning offers an optional visit to some of Delhi’s iconic landmarks for those who wish to do so. The group will come together for reflection, sharing of favorite photos, and an exchange of experiences from the tour. As the tour concludes, you’ll be transferred to the Indira Gandhi International Airport for your departure.
This itinerary promises a rich and diverse photography experience, capturing the essence of these iconic Indian destinations, from the bustling streets of Delhi to the spiritual moments on the banks of the Ganges in Varanasi, and the architectural wonders of Agra and Jaipur.

We strongly recommend you to get a Trip Cancellation & Travel Insurance after booking your trip. If you cancel and the Workshop is otherwise filled, we will refund you the full amount you have paid towards the tuition, minus a $300 service charge.
